Graduation ceremonies

NOTE: Spring 2024 graduation ceremonies are now full.

The next round of ceremonies take place in 2025.

Do not make travel, accommodation or leave arrangements until you've registered for a ceremony.
Check out all of the information below BEFORE registering.
You can't register unless you’ve received your Congratulations! email.
It's not possible to pay the AUD150 Ceremony Fee until you've registered for a ceremony.

NOTE: If you complete Trimester 2 2024 after 9.9.2024, you won’t receive a ceremony invitation email but you can still register using the instructions and links under the Step #1 - How to Register and Pay (tab) below.

Graduates from the following final study periods may attend a Spring 2024 graduation ceremony:

  • Semester 1 2024, Semester 3 2023, Semester 2 2023
  • Transition Semester 3 2023
  • Trimester 2 2024, Trimester 1 2024
  • Interim Trimester 3 2023
  • Block 4 2024, Block 1 2024
  • Research 4 2024, Research 3 2024 

You can register to attend any ceremony time | date | location which suits you and your guests. To attend a ceremony with more academic staff and graduates from your academic program, please select your Discipline-named ceremony i.e. the Bachelor of Nursing belongs in the Health and Wellbeing Discipline. All ceremonies will have a mix of graduates from all Disciplines attending.

If you have previously registered and cancelled your ceremony attendance, you’ll be unable to register online. Email graduations@unisq.edu.au requesting Manual Ceremony Registration and provide the location|date|time of your preferred ceremony. You cannot be added to a ceremony after the registration deadline or if the ceremony is full.

Please select your ceremony carefully as you will be unable to change once you register.

If you are unable to attend a current ceremony, you may be eligible to attend a 2025 future ceremony provided it takes place within 12 months of the date on your testamur (conferral date).
